Unfortunately that is just how kickstarter works - its not a store and their is no guarantee you will get anything ever. Depends on the type of project and what they need the funds for on how much of a risk you'll be taking, but everytime one must assume you might not get anything ever.

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

I was intending to be productive this summer break, but my gremlin children (and anxiety dog) have really ruined that entire idea. I still exist though and intend to return to streaming shortly after the school year begins. I might look a bit different upon my return though π
What if with 2 you flipped the background image? Text ends up in the coffee and the character would be tilted in the more open space. Might still need a little more contrast. Just a thought, no idea if it would look as good as my imagination thinks it would.

I'm so close to freedom from this project and my intention today was to lock in and get a big chunk of physics dealt with, but my dog has decided I needed to spend like 2 hours comforting him because of sounds he could hear but I did not.

Working on a secret project really sucks when things are looking so good you just wanna share all the WIPs, but alas secrecy. Back into the Live2D mines for now, but one day you shall see my hard work and it shall be worth it.

Assuming your referring to 2D art for use in Vtube Studio: only Live2D is compatible as far as I know. Live2D has a free version with some limitations you can start in to learn and then could do the one month pro free trial if those limitations are too limiting for finishing the rigging you'd want.
