I really liked this show, which surprised me since I am not into rock or hiphop and rarely pay attention to SNL’s musical guests.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to my online friends!
But there are different people in charge now at DC, like Marie Javits. And DC seems to publish as much Batman material as they can these days. So why not finally get an artist to draw the Englehart scripts?
Similarly, Steve Englehart once let me read the scripts for a new planned Batman miniseries to be drawn by Marshall Rogers. But when Marshall died DC deep sixed the project. But why? Steve’s scripts were good!
Steve Englehart’s “Doctor Strange” storyline about “The Occult History of America” with Ben Franklin. When Steve Englehart left, Marv Wolfman hurriedly wrapped it up, but I wanted to see Steve’s version. Unfortunately, Gene Colan, who drew what we saw of Steve’s story, has passed away.
Thanks! I was already following most of these people but have now added some I found on your list. And thanks for including me!
Have you seen “The Clock” which is now at the Museum of Modern Art? It’s a 24 hour long film that mainly consists of clips noting the time of day from numerous movies. I saw three hours of it last month.
Is this a Charles R. Knight painting?
Yet more exhibitions at your museum that I wish I could have seen but I live 3000 miles away!
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
I didn’t know there was more than one Bluesky site. I hope someone will explain that!
I was a regular customer at the Million Year Picnic when I lived in the Boston area. So glad to know it’s still there.
Hooray! Alonzo is here, too!
Glad to see that you too are a Powell and Pressburger fan.
Thanks!
Happy anniversary!
Happy birthday!
