The censorship of kinks ultimately represents an admission of guilt or wrong doing. It's the flag of defeat that is hard to lower because it can be cited as a refresh of success of the opposition and cited as a reference of internal submission out of moral obligation.
It sucks, massively. And it really brings forth one of trope truths of our world.

So if your someone opposing kinks, lgbtqa+ rights, or anything akin to that. Sparking division within the space is the most effective strategy.
It feels like a genuine extension of fear that typically isolates us. Instead of judging someone's favorite movie as a impression of taste. Instead we're using it to judge if someone is a serial killer in the making or a pedophile.
This really brings me back to our earlier conversation.
Whether be it the consumption of goods, media or what not. The reality is that we are all fighting against a negative pressure of norms. Things that we typically accept as "part of a person" is weaponized and suddenly the center of criticism

I think beta made the right choice. It sucks but it's the truth of it.
I'm more just concerned about the future. The Fandom on the majority seems to be resistant to alt right strategies (not immune but definitely resistant). However, it makes me fear that they've begun preying on younger furries.
Look, we've all said and done shit in the past that we regret when we were around this age. But personally, this feels really coordinated, and I'm starting to suspect some alt-right foul play here given some of the interactions I've seen.
I'm pretty late to this train, but upon doing my research, I couldn't help but notice the average age of people giving beta shit was like 17.
Another element is that a majority seemed to be very vocal about "the furry Fandom is too sexualized," unaware of the dog whistle they were blowing.

Was looking through my download folder before I go to bed and I found this from when I was taking my net+
(Small correction, it's less about picking up women and more just about how "everything sucks and nothing we do matters" kinda deal again its google translate so don't take my word for gospal here.)
Seeing kites implications of inner turmoil is really exciting to me. A new take on the character trying to navigate a confusing world. AHHHHH
On a closing note. this actully gives a lot of room for Kite as a character.
Kite in the original game is...the protganist. and that's sorta it? He's empathethic, willing to put himself on the line for others. ETC ETC. Which is fine but...definitely not very compelling.
I know we haven't seen a lot of the gameplay itself, but I'm honstly REALLY excited for this. There's alot we don't know but signs are REALLY positive and interesting.
.Hack is very familar with inverted color effects. It hits alot different this time.
CC mentioned that it really wanted to capture the contrast between the IRL self and their hidden, more private selves.
Again, its paradoxical, which I think perfectly describes things RN.
Then we get this shot. Standard barclet effects, but with a smattering of red about. Which only gets more intense as it progresses.
This is still the braclet of twilight, but the actual "oompf" of the effects are inverted.
And thus we have everything coloessing into this. All of the errors, and stressors of reality representing the "kite" we see next frame. This time they're looking down upon the conflict before him. Sad, mournful. The blue sky with visiual errors representing the paradox of ideas that are all about.
The internet didn't really pan out that way in reality though, something we see directly awknowledged right from the start. Thus aura's design is darker, her approach more forceful. Her entire design has a sinister vibe to it that really brings a dark edge to it all.
I won't get into spoilers incase folks wanna play the game. But Aura is basically someone who is constantly learning from the internet. The original .hack games had a rather opimistic spin on the internet. A tool for connecting people together to allow grander understanding and cooperation.
Then we get this shot of Aura. Not only looming over kite (yet offering a hand) but her entire design langauge has altered.
For the uninitiated, Aura is basically considered a baby goddess. Innocent, yet a very tragic character. her motif has always been blue eyes with a white gown.
Then we have the big moment here. Not only do we see standard OS errors (which is also reiterating that book of twilight). All while you see messages that kite has recieved (which also translate to some IRL stuff that kite was going through)
All of it reeling back to this culmination.
Then we have this moment here on Skeith's wand. Reminding the audiance that yes, Orca is data drained. But also this white feather has a lot of potential implications. A change in aura? a metaphor of Orca going into a coma? Or maybe a the gradual change of kite himself?
Second thing (and I'll wait for -the frame- here) but notice how Aura is...looking down at kite? There some interesting framing here as Aura is always -looking down- on him. Which I find to be a fascinating narrative framing. More on that later.
Next scenes accomplish a few things.
First. We get a good idea as to "when" this is all occuring. We have red kite fleeing in confusion from a data bug. This is most likely post book of twilight given what we established earlier, along with the idea in the OG games kite was green pre-book.
