I think sustainability is not the main concern in the debate on the decarbonization of the military. It is a new market to compete for dominance, a potential lifeline for EU competitiveness, and a warning that China is already on it.

Most EU countries spend money on domestic (ie national) defence suppliers. This isn't surprising, given local industry has long supplied governments.
When EU countries IMPORT, they will import from non-EU counties 80% of the time.
Yet the commission thinks 80% of ALL PROCUREMENT is foreign!
