Thanks! These are great models for a great price! I hope Archon Studios expands their selection of vehicle models soon. The cost and quality are terrific!

Three transport tank models in desert khaki, showing the three small turrets I made. Heavy Machine Gun in the middle flanked by the Laser MG on the right and the Hvy Flamer on the left.
The 3 small paint-pot lid turrets lined up in a row in front of the full size tank turrets behind for size comparison. From left to right: Hvy MG, Laser MG, and Hvy Flamer.
Same as the previous picture but the turrets face right to show off the detail on that dude, including a set of smoke grenade launchers on 2 of the turrets.
A photo from the rear of the tank showing how the model looks with its troop ramp open and the smaller IFV turret in place. Emphasizing it's role as a Transport much like a GW Chimera.
I had a fun evening of watching Band of Brothers and building and base-coating the 3 IVF turrets that will turn my Wolverine tanks into "Badger" APC transports for my #opr Space British HDF army! 1 Heavy MG (Hvy Bolter), 1 Laser MG (Multi-Las), and 1 Crocodile (Hvy Flamer) w/HK Missile launcher. ๐
Oh wow! I wish half of this stuff was on their website!?!? ๐ I'd buy up an armies worth in a heartbeat!! Especially the alien models!
These are from the Archon Studios Rampart series of mini vehicles and terrain. The Wolverine tank kit.
Tanks? Or paint pot turrets?? ๐
I'm working on some small turrets I can swap in on my Space British tanks for my newest #opr army: Space British HDF. I used old paint pot lids and bits to make this first small turret that turns the Tank into an IFV troop carrier. 1st one has a Hvy Bolter. Next 2 will be Multi-Las and Hvy Flamer.
Yes! A resin warjack I got on clearance online for this purpose! And the plastic arms from a Lord of the Rings Troll kit
Here's my "liberal" interpretation of the Mega Armor upgrade... ๐
I've got 2.
The Manticore Heavy Tank. A beast at supporting mechs or as defenders in built up terrain! And sexy to boot!!
And the LTV-4 Hover Tank. A 50 ton generic vehicle that was SO generic, it didn't even have its own artwork until the current IlClan era!! ๐คฃ Basically it's a hover Manticore.
Quote with your red art! (Or attempts at art...)

Yeah it's not my jam either. For many of the reasons already commented on and a few of my own.
But first and least controversial is I find I'm more and more tired of the sci fi-magic-horror mashup that defines modern "grimdark"...
As I get older, more clearcut, detailed hard sci fi hits better.
Thanks! It's fast becoming one of my favorite Orky vehicle models! ๐
RED ONEZ GOES FASTA!! ๐
Here's a WIP of my Cult of Speed #Ork modular Wagon with its base colors on! Still a lot to do but this is the general idea!? I'm really going to put an effort into making this stand out as the lead vehicle of my Cult detachment! Still working on the other 2 weapons options.
Post your favorite Star Trek character, but wrong answers only!
Tonight I made some kitbashed weapon options for my newly printed Ork Trukk/Wagon/Tank/..Thing... It came with the Quad Flack cannon, and I built the crew compartment and small turret (to look like an old armored car!) from bits! And the Mortar and AT gun are kitbashed from Dust SSU parts. ๐
It all comes full circle a few times! I'm currently using a CGL Battletech Atlas mini as a 28mm scale Dark Age of Technology AI abomination for my Heretic Tech-Priests warband... ๐
We really are...
I've also bought a 20 trooper box set of Eisenkern PanzerJagers to add to my army but I haven't built a single one yet! ๐คฆ I'm paralyzed by options! There are 6 different weapons you can pick for each squad!?! From combat shotguns, to SMGs, to heavy machine guns!! I'm having a hard time picking...
The Mammoth Walker mech model with the Heavy Rocket Pods pictured with the other weapons options laid out in front of it: the short and long barreled 88 cannons, the Artillery Rocket Pods, and the 30 mm Autocannon arms.
Here's a selection of the Dust weapons I've chosen to paint up to work with my Eisenkern Heavy Walker model.
Mammoth Walker mech model in desert tan paint with multi-tubed rocket launchers on both sides of the main hull.
Mammoth Walker mech model with twin long barreled 30 mm flack Autocannon arms added.
Mammoth Walker mech model with two Heavy Rocket racks, one on each side. The first set are flat faced high explosive rockets for wide area anti troop attacks. And the second set are sharply pointed Armor Piercing Shaped Charge rockets for bunker-busting and tank killing.
A Mammoth Walker mech model with twin long-barreled 88 mm Anti-Tank cannons in armor plated turrets on the side of the hull.
I've added a new model to my #opr Eisenkern Space Germans army in recent months. I built and customized a Mammoth Walker model from Archons Studios! I made it so I can swap weapons from my old Dust Tactics models in and out for different load-outs in GF. Not all options are painted up yet. #2 coming
Nice! Easily one of my favorite Dark Age mech designs!
Almost finished with my new model! It's for my new Custom Army list; "Space America". It's the Ranger MBT, a Tough 18 monster with a massive Heavy Rail Cannon (36", A2, AP3, Deadly 6) and a bad attitude!! ๐
I'm doing my classic Eldar as Corsairs using jade green and blood red!
I'm working on adding a tank to my #opr Space Americans! I've got the basic colors on now I need to dirty it up and weather the brightness out of them! Originally this tank was blue! And worked for the aliens! But I felt it looked too clunky to be alien tech, so Grumpy America gets it! ๐
Nice!! ๐ Is that a Clicky Tech Jaguar? It looks like a 60 ton version of it at this scale!! I love it!
I've always liked the strange look of the Vulcan but I really dislike the loadout of the standard tech version, so I never got one. The new CGL update looks pretty cool too!
I use the Woodland Scenics trees like these. I use the 2 inch trees (like yours) to represent Heavy Woods, and 1.25 inch trees to represent Light Woods. They look great!!
I might suggest making a template of ground cover to denote the "area" of the forest? Or are you using each tree on its own?
Awesome work! ๐
Terrific table!! Nice and claustrophobic!! Perfect for jumping mediums looking to cause trouble!! ๐
When my group plays classic we usually play hexless, using the same set ups we use for Alpha Strike. I definitely like it better than map games!
