Remember how hard the cable companies fought a la carte selections? Notice how much I'm paying for multiple streaming services to get history, science, cycling and anime without the golf, WWF and 700 club?
More importantly, they don't care what you think, they're going to force you to do it their way and pretend you asked for it.
Endowed??!! That means "stable"?
Curious. When I *describe* the style of ttrpg I like to play, I often use the phrase "improv story telling" but when I *label* it I say "role playing game".
So, I'm with you. I think they're watering down in a counterproductive way.
My wife and I have shifted back to Eastern Time sleep, so we're watching the Friday rebroadcast at noon.
My eyes are averted. Carry on ๐
End executive pay in securities. Pay them cash from the balance. If they want stock they can buy it like anyone else.
That took me 55 years and I'm still working on it. Nice work!
I'm with George, despite not liking GoT at all. If you got a book when you paid for a book, his obligation to you is complete.

Ok, im curious ๐
Mrs McGovern was both behind and ahead of her time. She had a Continental model of teaching: French instead of Chinese or Japanese, but she had a very liberal arts view of early childhood education: a lot of repetition and memorization, but modern in that she used song and rhyme and group recitation
Oh I wish we'd had one. I had preschool in the 60s with French immersion because Mrs McGovern thought all kids should learn another language
Sigh. Mooooommmmmm!
Searching....
Meh. Like what you like "good" has never had anything to do with it. "Quality" is how snobs boost their egos.
Dark skies as I sit under the canopy on my deck looking at lightning live maps an hope the storm turns just a bit south #iloveboomers
Stupid storm is trending too far north for me to get a good light show. The sound check is good though.
It's a complete coincidence that I'm wearing my AAAS tee shirt today
@aandeloucas.com has yours come yet?
@moudhy.bsky.social
I'm not really a doctor, but I play one in news sound bites.
Me too, diplodocus, me too.
How about no more blank checks for black projects and arms development
CEOs who want to own stock should have to buy it. Require companies to pay officers in cash. No more funny money. You can only pay them with money you have. Incentivize officers for profits, not growth.
It's a lot of work for them but I like the idea cr is doing of condensed eps edited down. Of course many others (like d20 ) are already curated and edited.
Is this a joke? It must... They wouldn't.... We live in different times.
I have come to consider, when interacting with -- Basically everyone, I try to remember that I have no idea what they are going through.
Yeah, in his case I might not have minded a bunch of masked unmarked cops wearing body armor
When you reach the point where your eldest child has a lifetime editing gig, you've made it
Both are more aspirational than anything else.
My "goodbye" is my dad's "take it easy"
I say no worries because I heard it all over eastern Australia when I was there on my honeymoon 32 years ago and liked it better than my "no problem"
