Talarico will make a difference. I'm not convinced another AIPAC Democrat in the Senate is a win; they'll just vote with the will of their constituents until it matters, and Israel tells them not to.

Will my attempt at getting people to boycott Home Depot entirely will be more effective than your attempt to show them, through the people working for them, that the policy of the individual store affects the customer base? IDK but it doesn't matter IMO.

I still choose blanket boycott -- any particular location is still contributing to corporate revenue and their corporate policy is reprehensible, regardless of the policy of the store.

I do hope that you know paying Home Depot is funding fascism. They cooperate directly with ICE and should be on top of all of our boycott lists, with Amazon.
Why? If you have concerns about a candidate and want people to make a certain choice in the primaries, I think that should be the hot topic right now. We are trying to rework our government and that requires discussion and persuasion.
That's truly disgusting. I know how much work goes into writing a scientific manuscript. Replying to that with AI swill is beyond insulting and it sucks that people try to take that shortcut and thereby degrade the whole process of, and power of peer review.
Maybe it's bc of my role: I do everything from data pipeline through analysis on to software engineering.
Writing new tools for data extraction, and integrating the tools into the code is a safe stable way are WAY faster. Now I can spend most of my time on data analysis and deciding what to do.
Scientific writing requires just as much nuance as writing a novel, and I would argue more. But that nuance is something AI completely fails to understand and reproduce.
Seems people understand that AI is crap at writing a thriller, but don't read science, and think AI can write science. It can't.
