There is something quite special about writing a book that's set in a world (loosely) inspired by feudal Japan, when you've been there only a couple of months ago and can actually see the streets you're describing in your memories. 🥰

Woke up with creative energy after an imposter syndrome day yesterday so I took the day away from social media, and would you believe it? I wrote a whole chapter, 2500 whole words, for my current WIP, Concord of Spirits.🥳 I feel so proud of myself.

No page reads on Kindle Unlimited for almost 2 months now. I think I'll end this experiment in April when my renewal comes up. I gave it a good try but dark, character-driven Asian fantasy clearly has no audience on there. It's not worth limiting my options anymore.
