And they're done! I'm so happy with how this turned out. I'm starting to feel a little more confident in being able to produce finished illustrations in traditional media, not just studies. 😊This is watercolor + gouache., with a little bit of color pencil and pastel for final touches.

A gouache and watercolor painting of Duncan the Tall and Lyonel Baratheon from HBO series Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Lyonel is in yellow and black and has leapt onto Duncan, wrapping his legs around his waist. Duncan is bent forward, holding his sword, which he seems to be pulling away from Lyonel, who is stroking it in a suggestive manner. In front of the two men is a feast with wine and grapes and candles, and behind them is a decorative blue border with curling vines and gold filigree.
