​To be honest, I haven’t shared this with many people before, but since three years ago, I’ve been struggling with sudden hearing loss.
​It’s been tough, but a personal message I received today from one of the world's top guitarists has truly encouraged me to keep pushing forward with my music.

I should mention that I’m more of a live performer/instrumentalist than a DJ, so it wasn't a professional DJ mix—I was basically just hitting play!

l33m @ number 9 (experimental) 1st attempt in this space and my heart was in my mouth lol but i enjoyed this very much. def planning for more in this nature.

I'm so glad to hear you were looking forward to it that much!
But, my streaming PC ran out of battery in the last 5 minutes, so it wasn't recorded.

That said, the next N9 is already set for April 28, and we'll have Screws and Ephnel performing.

When you add Stockhausen into the mix, it feels like the key elements that later form the context for what we call techno are all there.

If we’re talking within the framework of electronic music, it would probably come down to musique concrète, like the work of Pierre Schaeffer. He’s essentially the originator of sampling-based music.

Then there’s Terry Riley, who could be considered one of the founders of minimalist music.

Early Kraftwerk was experimentation itself, wasn’t it?
I believe all music—including techno—originally starts from experimental challenges. Genres are something that get labeled afterward, mainly for the sake of classification.
