I’ve also had my attention caught by people who have very little in the way of vertical display space, but decorated their table with a lot of care (garlands and lights and things like that). Sometimes it even does make them seem ‘airier’ if they’re stuck between two huge booths
I don’t know if it’s helpful to hear my thoughts as someone who spends most of their con time browsing artist’s alleys, but for me personally I’m drawn to colors and shapes over large setups. I’ve seen some big displays that didn’t appeal to me color-wise, and I didn’t gravitate there

2nd! it’s hard to find beautifully designed shirts with a proper collar that fit me well. you see it more in traditional “men’s” clothing and i have wide hips. i like to be able to wear most of my clothes both at work and outside of work, and the camp collar is a bit too casual.
