Looking for suggestions for a good ide for learning python as a beginner? Getting bogged down by my lack of knowledge and too many options.
Has to be Linux native(currently on Fedora but open to switching for a good reason), and open source is preferred.

I did this as part of my switch to Linux. Just make sure the machine boots into Linux first. Too easy to just default back to what you know. I've only logged into windows a few times in the last year or so and that was only because the files/software were already there for a 10 second job.
I haven't tried it ,but always hear that Mint is a great option for beginners. I personally use Fedora, and have had no trouble except when I deserved/expected it because I'm messing with lock screen/theme files lol

After getting my rhcsa i wanted to engross myself in Linux in general. The obvious option was Fedora. It has treated me very well, so far, but I'd like to try something Debian based soon. Maybe I'll just start with Debian itself.
