Jamie Catto and Duncan Bridgeman traveled the world with a laptop and a vision, recording musicians from different cultures and blending them into single, seamless tracks. Such a cool project, great songs too.
I'm using my beloved Sony CD Walkman much more often in 2026, to make use of those hundreds of CDs I still own!
This will be an ongoing thread of random listens, for anyone interested. Album number one had to be my all-time favourite, "Sign O' the Times" by Prince π

One year ago today, I released one of my favourite songs of mine. "Don't Belong Here" is a pop song about loneliness and feeling disconnected. Like most of my songs, it was recorded in my hometown of Bathgate, Scotland.

My synthpop song "Satoko" was released last December, and has been my most popular track on the streamers for most of the year since.
It has a very different vibe from my other songs, and it's a style I plan to explore more in future songs.
