Word count reached 6,666 words so far for the Undertale video script, I was only aiming for 6k since I only wanted to do 2k a day, but. Lots of shit to talk about.
Guy roommate is falling asleep in the living room again, so no VO for me tonight. Gonna wrap up this next section and just try to hope that he doesn't snore too loud. Dude has dumb dreams and blames the real life people for what they did in the dreams, dude's a dipshit.
That's tricky, because one player leans more combat/hanging out with friends and the other wants to try and do more story stuff but struggles when I have any hard choices as options. So I've tended to aim more for interesting situations they can end up in that might turn deadly depending on choices.

GURPs didn't go too well, DnD 5e is focused on 4 people, trying to get VtM going didn't work out because of how damage is handled. I kinda wanna do a Fabula Ultima game but like, balancing would be an issue as well from what I've heard.
Any tabletop RPG recommendations for GMing for two people? My two roommates that aren't batshit insane are my best bet for playing a tabletop game, but most assume a party of 4 for balancing. I tend to run mission based but loose games, where they have a set goal but are open in how they resolve it.
Made more weed butter, I'll know how it turned out in a bit. Yesterday recorded a video with my cousin, ranking the Undertale characters by how good of a friend they would be. That will be out next Thursday, on my birthday. Still writing Undertale script, wrapping up the ruins section.
But then I was thinking... what comes after, when your skills are all about stealing and moving stuff secretly? A career in logistics wouldn't be unheard of, but it still made me thing what happens to that kinda person when the sort of work they do is no longer needed.
What's funny about this was I was just thinking about a Fabula Ultima character that combined the Merchant and Rogue into an agent of sorts acting an ongoing rebellion. They'd be robbing the forces that are oppressing the locals and then distributing the funds/goods to the local resistance cells.
Written at least 2k words today, gonna finish this section and just relax.

Didn't expect my Undertale video script to end up as an exploration into my psychology as much as it has but it's very family focused and has children in danger so it'd feel... lacking if I didn't give input in regards to how my life relates to those things.

worth it. I normally wait for summer sales but like, if you wanted Undertale I can now officially in my capacity recommend it.
I don't know who would need to know that doesn't already have it, but since Undertale is the game I'm making a video on now I wanted to let people know it's 75% off on Steam currently until the 16th I believe. I would say it's worth the full price based on my playthrough, but at like $2.50 it's well
Another poll, this time is: should I decouple the story from the character analysis and cover the story loosely (by my standards) before diving deeper into the characters? Sometimes the essays can be a bitch to write with covering the characters as I do the story.

My videos are meant to be watched on a TV or a monitor, with you actually watching them with your eyes. Because of this I'll be including the "cutscenes" of Undertale that's basically unspoken (but sound effected) conversations. Mostly because talking over it means drowning out the dope music.
I remember reading the context behind the Art of War, most of it just being basic common sense, and how the rich layabouts really don't understand reality. Kinda makes me think of a lifestyle coach Paladin or Bard.
Stream went well, got three subs from it, and been getting more from the Morrowind video too. It's good progress so far, just need to keep having videos perform like that one and have good streams. Monetization will happen eventually, it's not if, it's when.

I don't always have the time nor energy to do fancier editing once I'm past day 4 of editing footage. So if I can get away with less cuts I will. Also sometimes I just forget what I had planned, Morrowind video didn't have the credits in the "What Morrowind Meant to Me" section because of that.

Something I've noticed is that, if you click on a video that's multiple hours long and you like the first hour chances are you're gonna keep watching it, if sunk cost fallacy didn't get you genuine enjoyment will.
Which is why sometimes for the last third or so I get lazier with editing.
I've found that for my scripts whatever I write in the back half always has less energy since I'm just running out of steam, so been trying to make sure I get all the important ideas covered before doing the filler bits that make up the rest of it. Plus sometimes games drag in the later bits.
He's going to be moving in with me and just need a little help to make this happen 🙏🏾
