They donβt understand that their
βideal utopiaβ would be no different than the βlibertarianβ ideal utopia, a hellscape of regional warlords controlling territories with poor & elite class, a mix of Feudal Japan & Pol Potβs Cambodia.
They donβt understand logic, cost, or compromise, just like MAGA.

Liberals were at the center of the Civil Rights movement, and now leftists have made that a dirty word.

I would love for us to take "progressive" and just own that, but the media would have a meltdown.
Leftists dirty up a word like "liberal" and "progressive" "metoo" and it's hard as hell to reclaim.

This.
Leftist are regressive. And they prove that in every election cycle and *almost every vote taken by leftists in office. And DSA are leftists, so fall in that category.

Yes. But sadly, the Democrats are falling for the DSA populism and thatβs very likely to harm or even destroy the party.

True. Leftists are "regressive" not "progressive"
They love adopting names that make them sound edgy and cool, but they rarely live up to them.
Dems are left of center, period, so Dems are progressive, imo. There are some more "moderate" progressive Dems - probably "pragmatic" is a better word,

Rabbi Poupko makes a key point about LW idealists coopted to prioritize Jew hatred.
They won't call it Jew hatred; they call it "antizionism."
But that's just the new ideology for Jew hatred, as race was Hitler's ideology.
Russian/Chinese/Iranian propaganda brainwashed too much of the West.

Opinion | The Bibi-Made-Trump-Do-It Canard
Israel didnβt manipulate the U.S. The countries worked closely together.
βIran is building some 100 ballistic missiles a month, and accelerating, far outpacing U.S. interceptor productionβ¦
βWeβve now seen what Iran can do with its current stockpile of some 2,500 missiles. What if it had double thatβ¦?β

ICE announced theyβre leaving Minneapolis.
But ICE goons lie.
Operations are expanding into the suburbs, and their presence continues to frighten people. So many families still donβt have enough food to eat.
Please donate below β $25, $36, $50, $100, or the cost of a lunch or a dinner out. β€οΈ

Mamdani allies, deep-pocketed donors mobilize millions for anti-AIPAC effort
A trio of Mamdani backers united with tech and real estate investors to boost anti-Israel candidates
This anti-Israel PAC spent $500K on Far Left Nida Allam in #NC04.
It doesn't care about rent, and it doesn't mind attacking Black women leaders.
So "progressive" candidates declining PAC money, be sure to exclude American Priorities PAC too.

I always keep stating that the left isnβt progressive.
Progress canβt be achieved ba shouting for everything and accepting no compromise.
Thatβs not being progressive, thatβs childish behavior.
Real progress is being achieved incrementally and patiently.

Glad you put progressives in quotes. The alt-Left isn't progressive. They co-opted the term, just as they did base. They are parasites looking to inhabit any willing host.
True Progressives do exist, and are distinguishable by whether they are working for progress pragmatically or performatively.

This is why "progressives" hate Black people.
It's impossible to win the presidential primary & primaries in certain states/CDs without strong support from Black voters.
They hide behind code words like neoliberal, BlueMAGA & "establishment," but like in 2020, they eventually show their true colors.

Motives are a different story, but itβs entirely possible that he is interested in helping the people of Iran. Thereβs something in it for him, and thatβs motivating, but so what? If it gets freedom for the Iranian people and the head of the terror proxy octopus goes down thatβs not a bad thing.

The U.S. remained neutral in WWII because of similar opposition, but involvement was inevitable. The result of opposing involvement for so long just caused the loss of millions more lives. Earlier involvement would have saved money, lives, resources, and a shitload of grief and trauma.

Nobody wants strikes on Iran. There are a lot of people describing this like itβs a preference instead of the reality weβre stuck with. Opposing it doesnβt make it go away, it dooms thousands of innocent people to die and pretends that is isnβt going to be a conflict in the United States eventually.
