I feel such immense joy every time a lost film is found. Silent films feel miraculous to me. Someone is making me laugh across an ocean of time over a century across. It makes me feel so connected to humanity.

Taking your own food when youβre going TO ITALY. truly the sign of a demented mind
This is my reality today I just watched Me and You and Everyone We Know

Sunset Boulevard is Dracula if you think about it.
Will Auroch Kong be coming soon?? I hope the domestication mechanics are well done.
Yes, collectively it's called the "Beasts of Burden Suite." It's six games. Donkey Kong is the flagship. Then Reindeer Kong. Hm? Yes, not actually a reindeer. Then Mule Kong, then Lllama Kong. Also monkeys, yes. Then Bactrian Camel Kong. That's correct, also monkey. Then Elephant Kong. Yes I'll hold
Weβve all got something that makes our mind go wild. I also think the main problem is unconditional stanning. You can Stan things but youβve got to let them go too.
none of this is legal. none of this is normal. feel free to tell anyone who says otherwise to fuck off.
When you get the reputation of being the guy with the encouraging words on New Year's Eve, it can start to come through as a little pressure -- what if the situation on the ground is worse than usual? what if people are more scared than they usually are, and with cause? what use are good vibes then?
no itβs not just weapons and knowing how to fight, thereβs more to it than that. really thereβs a whole world of warcraft
the shit I care least in the whole world about is whether the story about the Earl of Sandwich is true. yes it fucking was. my man was playing cards and eating meat with his hands and then he said hold up check this out. you won't believe this shit. bring me some fucking bread & hold onto your hats
They canβt handle your metaphors!
it's me. the surprise character in Avengers Doomsday is John Darnielle from the Mountain Goats. I murder half the Avengers with my sick rhymes but you have to see the movie to find out which ones
This accounts for just under half of the shortlisted short films. Itβs not everything but this will give you a good start! As nominations and awards approached more will likely become available. I hope you have fun exploring these films like I will!

I do own Seven Samurai. Also Seven Chances, One Week, and Once. Iβve been mostly buying from boutique labels and secondhand and I donβt have much space. Do I need to specifically seek out films that start with numbers?
That use the digit rather than the number written out, yes. I also own Three Ages, Number Seventeen, and the Three Colors Trilogy.

A screenshot of a Letterboxd List from Aidan Kedzierski titled βPhysical Media Collectionβ. 197/475 films are watched. The list has the tag βownedβ. The first 8 films are shown. They are: 12 Angry Men 20,000 Species of Bees The 39 Steps The 400 Blows β49-β17β 8 1/2 After Hours After Life
Give me a number between 1 and 475 and Iβll give you a film I own on dvd, Blu-ray, or 4K
Warning: this includes short film collections. The likelihood of getting a silent short film is very high
Gonna be even more earnest than usual on main, but I wanted to share. Because I have a bunch of pain stuff I was in my thoughts about it, and I said to myself, βI have to show love to my body. My body is doing the best it can.β so if anybody needs this, it made me feel good to say that
