Recently started to test some of our DIA data from the Astral Zoom coupled with EvoSep Uno. We've processed some files with a local version of Chimerys through PD and DIA-NN. Wow ๐๐๐-๐๐ is fast. #massspec #proteomics

I'm not seeing the spectrum file column in the PSMs table when saving the data files for custom scripting in Proteome Discoverer 3.3. I use that column in several custom nodes. We're moving from PD 3.1. #massspec #proteomics #thermo

There are several papers that published variable yeast levels spiked into a constant background of human proteins or vice versa. They talk about quotative accuracy and whatnot for mass spectrometry. Send me a link to your favorite one of these please :) #Proteomics #massspec
We're getting Ardia later this year! I'm excited to see how we can put it to use with data processing and storage from our Thermo Mass specs. #massspec #proteomics
Neat, looking forward to testing it out
Last week the #TXMSDG had a meeting at UTSW. Thanks for sponsoring the event @evosep.bsky.social and thanks @ucdproteomics.bsky.social for coming. Enjoyed meeting you and your talk! #massspec

Bruker TIMS-TOF Pro 2 vs Thermo Orbitrap Astral. Pros and cons? Any thoughts on what you'd want for an academic proteomics core facility? #massspec #proteomics
Great! Thank you. I'll try it next week!
Absolutely. Enjoy your day time out of the lab! It was pretty sparse around campus today and I expect it is like that everywhere for a bit still.
Do you have a 96-well plate with a barcode by chance? If so, if you send a picture, I can try a print of it and see how it does.
Any idea how to make a 2D bar code for Thermo Vanquish autosampler so the barcode reader reads it as 96-well plate? Or 96-well rack? We use custom racks and the barcode scanning is getting mad. For the 54 spot rack, it looks like this and reads as "TF0RACK01T002Z" on my phone. #massspec #proteomics
