My thoughts on Fox News Sunday after the first 24 hours of war with Iran: This is a war of choice. We all want a free and democratic Iran. But overthrowing authoritarian leaders with force has not historically led to democratic, pro-U.S. governments rising in their place.
Trump has gotten himself wrapped up in something he knows nothing about. Netanyahu is playing him like a fiddle. Between him, MBS and Putin, they have Trump right where they want him. Doing their bidding. America will be left holding the bag when all is said and done.
These people are absolutely ridiculous the regime in Iran is deeply entrenched and is hardly going to be toppled from the air alone Trump has the audacity to promote democratic ideals in Tehran even as his ICE agents operate for months with limited regard for legal restraints in our own country.

If you live in a red state, you may not notice ICE raids, that's because local police depts signed up to help ICE and are doing the work for and with them. Are they getting warrants? Are they profiling you bet.
