Emerlee Simons, Lender Outreach and Marketing Coordinator at NJHMFA, was pleased to join one of the county's largest gatherings in Cape May County, a Community Resource Day held at Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
NJHMFA was delighted to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Cliffs on Hudson, a fully affordable housing community featuring 66 apartment units across two mid-rise buildings, complemented by community and amenity spaces.
Today we celebrate Justice Fabiana Pierre-Louis. Fabiana was nominated by Gov. Phil Murphy on June 5, 2020 and was sworn in as an associate justice on Sept. 1, 2020. She is the first Black woman to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Today we celebrate U.S. Senator Cory Booker. Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2013, Booker has become a national leader in criminal justice reform, helping pass historic bipartisan legislation, while also fighting to protect and expand access to affordable health care, raise wages, and more.
Today we celebrate Rep Bonnie Watson Coleman, the first Black woman to represent New Jersey in Congress. Serving her 6th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Bonnie Watson Coleman continues a lifetime of public service dedicated to New Jersey families and the fight for equity and justice.
