It was a great, and timely piece. Two days earlier, at the Oxford Farming Conference, I'd asked the Met Office science lead on food security - What will be the impact on UK farming of a collapse in the Gulf Stream? His answer was based on ten year old science. Hope he read your article!

Great thread. Solutions do exist for London's terraced homes. If local authorities choose to take them. Office for Zero Emission Vehicles advice to local authorities on cross pavement charging can't come quick enough. And needs to be effective. Radical Modernisation
