This would be good news if there was any hope at all for accountability.

My son, who has cerebral palsy, has been successfully using programs enabled by the DoE essentially his entire life. This move will negatively impact his life in a dramatic way. This administration is full of monsters. Greedy fucking monsters.

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

This is good advice even if your boss doesn't ask. Keep track of your accomplishments whether to pat yourself on the back or go after a new job - your work is valuable, especially if it's already done!

I have two initial reactions to this.

1. I would love to see a short-form video platform come up based on AT. I stopped using TikTok a couple years ago and I do miss it.

2. I feel like billionaires funding/owning/running social media platforms is the root problem with social media.

I am at my desk with a cup of coffee at 10:15am. I have been at my desk since 8:45. It took four tries, getting up from my desk and going to the kitchen for coffee, before the coffee made it all the way to my desk. It's going to be a long day. TGIF.

I’m pretty much decided on moving my team off LastPass. What alternatives should I look at. We’re a team of ten and I need to be able to customize access via groups or similar.

My take on today’s NYT crossword: If the theme has with not-real words as answers, It’s a bad theme. Especially if those fake words are in the longest answers. Not fun to sort out gibberish in a crossword puzzle.

I also made peppermint bark but it doesn’t have any butter (at least not the dairy variety).

More butter. I usually make wreaths out of wheaties in the stroller if river crispy treats. But I couldn’t find wheaties at the store so I just used rice crispies. The wreaths were super ugly so I just went casserole style and covered it in cinnamon candies.
