Ted has reached his goal weight! Hooray! It has taken a year.
Edna of course never lost her girlish figure.
They have a live in chef, nutritionist & PT- if I had that I’d probably be at my goal weight.

It is weird. I find designer shopping kinda gross at anytime. I know you have to pay more if you want ethically produced clothing but designer clothes & bags in the thousands is just disgusting to me. Also - shops & brands that only do tiny sizes. Yuk

Negative. Went for a walk. Poopers were scoopered & no fur present.

I gave #tedna a goats tail each before I went to the beach. An hour later -both tails are gone.

I have checked all the usual hiding places outside & of course the usual inside places -the clean laundry basket, couches, wardrobes.

TBH I’m appalled at the language & tone over there. The hardcore Labour supporters are as vile as the hardcore RW. I looked briefly this morning & I’m just not cool with the ‘Tory Whore’ narrative.

When I read the blurb of book 1 I was super skeptical. They are good. It dawned on me that you hardly ever read anything about aging while having fun. The occasional older romance but nothing about ‘living’ as a pensioner- with mates.
The characters are so well developed.

And a trade unionist!

These books are great. So warm and witty.

I’m now reading the 4th Thursday Murder Club book.
Joyce just commented how clever a man was for getting Turkish TV on an English Telly and I laughed out loud at the beach.
