I love that they do that charade while ignoring the actual pope telling them their actions are evil.
Today my dad finally saw on TV one of those weird praying sessions they have at the White House that looks like a bunch of cultist weirdos are worshipping Trump like a god. And I'm glad he saw it because it's the kind of stuff that I can't explain to my family without them thinking I'm crazy.
Overhead view of a black cat stretched across a my lap. He is asleep with his head on my forearm, while my wrist is on keyboard.
Work from home they said. It will be fine they said. #CaturdayEve
Yeah, I mean he is currently helping a very prominent, and unpunished, child predator wage an illegal war. If they really care about the children, maybe they should start with that. It's not a good look.
the Austin mass shooter was a Tesla employee who assaulted a coworker during a company-allowed prayer break late last year
the company refused to give the victim her assailant's name so she could press charges, and he went on to become a mass shooter

Are they trying to thirst trap Jabba? lmao
I'd like to see the AI industry sued into dust. They are breaking the law constantly and nothing ever gets done about it, on top of the myriad other problems they cause, all in return for an utterly crap technology no one should use.
Never anthropomorphize your computer.
[they hate it when we do that]
Then there's stuff like weak_ptr where the docs tell you that lock() is atomic, but doesn't say a single thing about any of the other methods.
Is operator= also atomic, or not? Sure would be nice if it fucking said.
I mean, I think I understand some of it, but my understanding is based on a load of assumptions because the information simply isn't in the documentation.
I don't like making assumptions about thread safety and concurrency, so I don't like using that stuff and would rather use something else.
Any time I try to understand std::atomic or C++'s memory order terminology I give up and just use a Windows critical section instead.
The STL documentation is fucking atrocious and missing so much detail.
Donald has a taste for mass murder now & he can't stop amassing victims.
(That's my "saying positive things about Microsoft" done for this year.)
Hard to complain about that when no other browser provides a way to embed it in other programs/windows, other than forking the entire browser and then being responsible for keeping it up to date forever.
It's the one thing Edge does (again, after a long time not) that's better than anything else.
Eye of the Beholder 2 on floppy disk with (i think) all original packing materials- 3 disks, clue guide, ssi 92 catalogue, ssi hint line, neverwinter nights on aol, ssi 92 rpg catalog, ssi customer response card

Next 2 hours of the stream is just the guy staring at some water or a starry night sky in the game going "wow!"
I can't help thinking a human would have been able to tell they weren't real, perhaps America should stop relying on ai to win a war.
I was thinkign "They don't have a brain" for one of that pair, but couldn't work out what else to go with it haha
Fash before my eyes, now it's time to die
IDK whatβs in Mullins car.
FT comments section this morning - saying what everyone else is thinking, right?
You mean the far right side?
How it started / how it's going
Wow, I did nazi that coming.
"Comically evil version of character we know" was also fun once or twice, but really ends up being the same thing every time. The OTT evilness completely takes over the character, and all the evil-universe characters are the same as each other, just scheming according to each's circumstances.
Oh no, they're in the Mirror Universe.
It was fun when it was Spock with a goate in TOS, but it's more & more implausible. The universes are so divergent and yet similar. People's grandparents don't exist in one timeline but somehow they're still in both timelines, and know all the same people.
Hopefully he deletes all his posts once he learns how to be a "UI engineer" aka "select something from a menu".
