Fun fact: If you purchased a large pack of Petit Pot puddings at Costco like I did and feel bad about getting rid of such nice little jars, you can go to their website and buy silicone lids in 4-packs. They’re cheap. I think two packs cost me something like $4. Free shipping.
A good thing that happened today: My friend gave me this totally awesome notebook. #GenX

I always love their videos. And this new song is especially timely. youtu.be/MOEULOSVNK4?...

Rewatching the first season of Severence now.
I don’t want to give anything away for those who haven’t watched it. But I will say that I am continually impressed by the battery life on Petey’s phone.
Eating tomato soup for lunch on a day when I’ve worn a white sweater to work is a much more stressful experience than I anticipated.

And you’re right. The recipe is easily adaptable. It was great!
I made this for dinner tonight.
I’m sharing because it’s nine days into 2025. We’re already sad, and exhausted. This was simple, comforting, and delicious for a night when you’re just plain sad and exhausted. cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1025...

This is my kind of joke
a collage of nine photos of a gray bully pup wearing an increasing number of polka-dotted party hats from one to nine.
This is Maisy. She gets an additional party hat for each birthday, and she just turned nine. 13/10 may this tradition go on forever
I’m happy to see more familiar faces popping up here. I’ve been here for a while, but haven’t put too much oomph into it. Seems like today is a good day for putting a bit more oomph into Bluesky.
Snow Day
To be fair she does look like a chicken.
It snowed last night and the dog is NOT having it. You can hear the “But it was 65 on Tuesday!” in her bark.
They seem like really pleasant people.
It’s a wild concept, but I think he’s right.
What an achievement vaccines are. What a monument to our love for each other it is to stare straight into the face of something as horrific and unstoppable as smallpox or measles or polio or cervical cancer and say “You know what, it doesn’t have to be like this.”
HUMANS!
