My plans for self-medication are based on slapping acrylic paint on plastic miniatures and glue on MDF terrain.

Prime black.
Heavy drybrush mid grey (Dawnstone equivalent).
Drybrush light grey (Grey Seer equivalent).
Top-down soft drybrush pure white, focus on upper surfaces and hard edges.
Go crazy with Contrast or Speedpaint or inks.
Substitute greyscale with browns, greens, etc. for different effects.
Headswap or full resculpt? Either way, looks great!
