TBH, I was hoping that places like Modeoheim and Barona would be incorporated into Icicle Inn and Mideel.

Nojima says he's approaching the scenario on the assumption that the story will essentially follow the flow of the OG, with small changes to how things are presented and the events that take place. Most of my appreciation is with the remake, but I loved the og as well. Jill is just too cool 😅. Always holding out for her to be the star of a new game.

My Top 5 would be a rotation of: RE3, RE1, RE4, RE2, and Village.

I do gotta give shout outs to RE5 Mercs/Survival and RE6 No Mercy Mercs for being some of the most fun mini-games.

Nothing you said was confusing, I really don't care about those sort of technicalities. I'm just gonna play the game in the most convenient way available; whether that's on NSO, an official 3Dvania Collection, busting out my N64 and poppin' the cartridge in, or just emulating it on my PC.

That's not an issue for me. Been emulating and messing with games for long enough now.

The timing is all there. Rebirth dropping on NS2/Xbox just before the SGF event starts and 30th Anniversary is January of next year... C'mon lucky number 7. XD

I’m willing to throw down the $40 for a 3Dvania collection with the N64 and PS2 games. Dunno if everyone else is or if the games would hit with modern players but I think that’s par for the course when it comes to Konami. 😅

Playing as a werewolf in Castlevania was a dream come true as a teen. I really hope Konami gets this game on NSO.

Sega has a much beefier list of B-tier games compared to Nintendo so you get more hidden gems imo
