I would really like someone to do a study on the animation industry cuz I am pretty sure it would reach similar percentages at least. Who ever knows what these numbers would be if you factor in the service industries for games/anim too and all those branching jobs that dont get tracked.

She was so sad when she came home from school, she had to pull me aside and tell me what happened

She reads the manga every night before bed and was so close to reaching that moment in the story

Some kids in my daughter’s class did a presentation about One Piece and spoiled Marineford for her right when she’s *just about* to reach it on her own in the manga

They also spoiled a major character reveal from Dressrosa

So anyway I’m gonna call the principal and have those kids expelled 🏴‍☠️

Phenomenal game

When someone tries to convince me to use AI to make art:

replacing the word "art" with "content" is rhetorical theft of the very concept of expression by the ruling class

art is an expression of the soul. content is something to fill out the pages of a catalogue

the enthusiasm for generative AI would not have been possible without prior decades of capitalist conditioning to view works of art as products, rather than acts of culture and shared human life

I've made it a personal goal to stop using the term "content" when referring to media made by artists. The word implies mass-produced filler and calling someone's hard work their "content" has started to feel kinda like an insult. Like human art made strictly for quick consumption
