Really appreciate your genuine feedbacks!!
the wave pattern is actually the trickiest part of this tool! I tried so many ways to manipulate and it's just out of control lol, there used to be more division patterns but it's just cause more problems and I discarded them. Do you think I should get rid of the divisions entirely?
You are right, I also notice that some combination looks weird, but i guess "No division" might the easiest way to explore the tool
I bought some tote bags and plan to heat press some letters on the tote and share with friends! would love to share the outcome later :D
- this is a fun idea to start with, so i actually don't know where can this tool be integrated or further customization. But I would love to hear if you have any suggestions!
hey Janelle, thank you so much for playing with the tool and thank you for the nice words!
to answer your Qs:
- my initial idea is to divide the letter into segments so that more patterns can be added to it, but I can't cut the letter freely due to the technical limitation and only waves work
Tools impact the produce:
Show up with an iPhone, you're thinking about sharing.
Show up with a film camera, you're thinking about saving film and you're spending more time composing.
Show up with a digital SLR, you take a whole bunch of pictures and hope something's going to turn out.

No worries :) thanks for sharing! it's a very good use case.
Could you share a bit of the situation that makes you want to use this tool?
Thanks Akanni!
I've been playing with Figma Make lately and have come up with a small tool: done-pluck-41161742.figma.site
The initial idea is to decorate the letter and give typography another layer of expression. Would love to hear any feedback! And thank you for playing with it :D
This is very cool! Could you share how you did it in Figma? Just use your finger on trackpad?π²
π haha true
Am I using it wrong? why my GPT can't understand me.....
Figma Draw is really good! I tried GPT4o first, but no matter what prompt I gave, it didn't generate the image that matched what I had in mind...(p2), so I decided to give Figma Draw a try, and can't believe I draw well with just my finger on the trackpad! (p3)
A random learning: long press any letter on your keyboard and it will let you pick the tone for it, a very hidden by handy feature. Is it new? how come it took me years to discover it?
Now I can type Chinese pinyin: DΓ JiΔ HΗo π
oh wow just checked it and it's just what i need! tysm!!
2. When I opened up about my U.S. visa struggles, and found out people were in the same situation, even tho they didn't seem to have this kind of worries.
I've been to some networking/meetup events lately, and there are 2 moments that I felt instant connection.
1. When someone asked: Can I pick your brain on...(a serious topic) and the other person shared some beach photos and her upcoming Italy trip, after answering that serious question.
I used Figma to make a video simply by applying After delay trigger in the prototype. It's not the most stunning, but it really solves the problem since I only have 1 day to finish it.
Should I reach out to someone I haven't talked to in years? The longer we wait, the more intimidating it feels. Living in imagination and overthinking wastes precious time.
Just taking action is often the best way to move forward and improve life's efficiency.
I have been attending startup-related events since March in London and Seattle, and I love it. Not a time leaving an event without building meaningful connections while feeling inspired.

1. Share advice with others can be wrong but share experiences will not.
2. The best possible way to build is built with as little capital as possible and to be profitable from day 1. Funding is just a tool not the objective.
Turns out I'm not alone!
Honestly I think any flavor would work! I've tried vanilla, salted caramel, and chocolate (I used dairy ice cream tho). I also used to make vegan chocolate mousse with banana, avo and chocolate powder, but blending avo with real ice cream is way better!
A perfect example of misalignment - when two people discuss the same concept but mean different things. My tennis coach said I should be in a ready position as soon as I know how to respond to the ball. p1 = his "Ready," and p2 = my "Ready". I make a big improvement after the alignment is made.
Next time when hiring manager asks how I make trade-offs:
π¨ I mix 3 tablespoons of ice cream with half of an avocado π₯
That way I get a LARGE bowl of delight without overconsuming saturated fat and sugar.
Still tastes unbelievably good!
Lately craving: simmer the milk with 1 egg, 1 date or jujube, handful of goji berry, rose petals.

A 16px icon and a 16px icon in a 24px frame look identical at first, but those "unnecessary" padding helps create consistent touch and hover areas, which is very necessary.
