Insane that it takes 2/3rds of Congress to overrule the president unilaterally taking the country to war. Even more insane that the only thing we're talking about isn't how to change that. You'll never get a better demonstration of why it's bad than a senile TV dumbass blowing shit up

i genuinely cannot process how debased our ruling class is. these guys will walk around all day in shoes that don't fit rather than tell their boss he's wrong. this whole thing where they pretend a stupid evil guy with brain damage is qualified to run every aspect of everyone's life is unacceptable

Why are Hillary Clinton, Tucker Carlson, & many other pundits & politicians attending a huge real estate conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?

Because they're all heavily invested in real estate within the region & are freaking out the value of their investments will drop drastically due to Iran War.

Secretary Kristi Noem

@Sec_Noem
Thank you
@POTUS
 Trump for appointing me as the Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas.
@SecRubio
 and
@SecWar
 are incredible leaders and I look forward to working with them closely to dismantle cartels that have poured drugs into our nation and killed our children and grandchildren.

The Western Hemisphere is absolutely critical for U.S. security. In this new role, I will be able to build on the partnerships and national security expertise, I forged over the last 13 months as Secretary of Homeland Security.

We have made historic accomplishments at the Department of Homeland Security to make America safe again: we delivered the MOST secure border in American history, 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S., we have located 145,000 children, FEMA delivered disaster relief at a 100% faster rate, we ushered in the golden age of travel, saved the American taxpayer $13 billion and revitalized the U.S. Coast Guard.

We really do need to hammer home reducing police budgets and using them to bolster teacher salaries immediately. The fact we have these massive goon squads playing candy crush all day at their jobs meanwhile teachers are having to get second incomes is frankly embarrassing as a rich country.

When a bunch of 100k+ accounts with a national and international level audience decide to go to war with a bunch of weird trans girls who are tired of being genocided, it's not an accident.

It's the culmination of the fascistic stew they've been marinating in for a decade or more.

This is a common refrain in Democratic circles about everything the Republicans do.

They are completely oblivious that they are also immensely powerful people sitting around and doing nothing.

The regime won’t let you have clean hands if you work for them, even if they’re punishing you. This was leaked on purpose, is uncomfortably close to confessing to a war crime, and highlights once again how tech’s unthinking growth directly leads to dead kids.

i was talking to my mom about cardassians and said something along the lines of what must it be like to be a cardassian civilian. like abstractly knowing the rest of the galaxy thinks of your species as 'the evil ones' and kinda sorta knowing your government runs labor camps and torture prisons and is a military empire, and it's a huge deal for everyone else in the galaxy, but you just like run a restaurant so it's not a big part of your daily life, so you just like, go about your day and make soup and don't think about it' and then halfway through my sentence i actually heard myself and then had to go sit down for like ten minutes. like sat down in a chair and stared at the floor for ten minutes

A screenshot of a mobile Google search results page in dark mode for the query "Kansas trans". Under the heading "News about Kansas," there is a list of four news articles:
An article from the Kansas City Star, published 13 hours ago, with the headline "Kansas informs trans residents their driver’s licenses become invalid on Thursday". The thumbnail shows a sample Kansas driver's license.
An article from The Independent, published 7 hours ago, with the headline "Kansas sends letters to trans drivers demanding the immediate surrender of their licenses over birthright law". The thumbnail shows small pride flags on desks inside a legislative chamber.
An article from The Topeka Capital-Journal, published 7 hours ago, with the headline "Kansas invalidates IDs and birth certificates of transgender people". The thumbnail features a close-up of colorful pride flag stickers.
An article from Erin In The Morning, published 16 hours ago, with the headline "Kansas Sends Letters To Trans People Demanding The Immediate Surrender Of Drivers Licenses". The thumbnail is a nighttime photo of a state capitol building illuminated in pink and red lights.

A day later and no major national news org has covered what they're doing in Kansas.

This is the flip side of the hyper focus on trans issues by the right. The national media ignores what's actually being done to trans people.

This erasure is what contributes to the persecution.

Incredible how many tribal lands and nations you can trip on just walking 5 feet to the left. There are more than 98 American Indian tribes in the KC area alone.

These lands along the MO river region were stolen by the U.S. government from the Great and Little Osage in 1825 through Cession ID 1232

Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.

It stinks! I’m doing like 3-4 martial arts classes a week but I still feel as tired all the time as I did a year ago when I was doing nothing. It’s like our bodies adjust to the level of physical activity we exert them to do or something.
