This is very good.
At the heart of all of this is an ideological confusion; the govt doesn't really know what it exists (aside from being for a fairly nebulous concept of 'working people') and what values it has.
As such, it struggles to pick enemies or make friends.
You know, when you think about it, its like the USA today is being run by a fraudulent businessman who bankrupted every business he ever ran except those bankrolled by the Russians or after he used political power for personal financial gain.
