It was, & we did have some short breaks, but tbh was so glad to be round so many BTs the time flew by!
Best of breed in Crufts group final.
Judging of a border terrier class.
A friendβs border.
First time at Crufts today; entire day watching border terriers, plus a few BT cuddles from friendsβ dogs. In terrier group final now, rooting for you know who.
He was, thank you x
Thanks x
Thanks, he was a true character, a real gentle soul.
Thank you; he was our little star π«
Thanks Helen & really enjoying seeing everyoneβs pictures x
Heidi border terrier stood in the driver's seat with her paw on the steering wheel of a kid's electric mercedes benz car abandoned on the street in Prestwich. Knights Close to be exact! The car is white and the fence behind is painted black which matches her car coat π
Our #TerrierTuesday Theme this week suggested by @rharrisonred.bsky.social is Home Screen or Lock Screen
This is Heidi roaring into action like Knight Rider every time I switch my phone on
Coincidentally we found this #MercedesBenz on Knights Close π

Little Joe π in various guises has been my #HomeScreen since 2012. My little manβs still there now on this #TerrierTuesday, in his wise old gent phase.
Sorry for your loss, thinking of you all x

A very young Little Joe looking down the camera lens.
Little Joe at four at Tarn Hows surveying his lands.
Little Joe aged 10 after a hard day painting the raised bed.
Little Joe preparing to do the pore parkrun briefing at Fell Foot.
Six months now since Little Joe π left us; the gap he left canβt be filled, but remembering the joy he brought & had in his life helps. So hereβs four ages of Birder Terrier: one, four, nine & 13 β€οΈ
You remind me so much of our Little Joe π; thanks buddy.
Sunset over the Kent Estuary, from Arnsideβs foreshore.
Definitely the verge of spring; first time in 2026 Iβve been able to go out for a post-work run without the head torch & plastered in reflective clothing. And even got natureβs light show to celebrate!
Yes, the weather held off a bit yesterday (not so much today) & it did look lovely
A little way along, north from it - as best I can remember between the dark & the gasping to catch my breath as I ran π
View of the sunrise over the coast at Bangor.
Trip out for work for a couple of days, & first time ever in Bangor. No better way. To find out the lie of the land than an early morning run & the chance to see the sun rise over the coast π
Every time
He was, always a gent - only gave me the hard stare when I deserved it ππ
Fair point, probably a dual purpose hard stare π
Border terrier sitting on his Mumβs lap, at the top of a walk on Arnside Knott.
Little Joe π giving me a bit of a hard stare on top of #ArnsideKnott back in February 2018, telling me to put the phone down, stop taking photos & take in the beauty of the South Lakes Fells in front of me! Sage advice, as it always was. #TerrierTuesday
Donβt listen buddy, youβre perfect!

Yes, really helpful though seems to pick up fewer birds/less birdsong than it used to.

Dawn chorus on the morningβs walk definitely showing up for the first signs of spring.
One of LJβs π favourite games β€οΈ
Take it easy buddy & rest up
Sorry to hear that Helen; hoping this year is a bit better for you. Iβm not convinced how warm that sun was last year, but then LJ did have the advantage of two fur coats π
Border terrier lying on the patio in the sun.
This was taken exactly a year ago today, Little Joe π taking advantage of a little February sun. Not too much though, lying largely in the sun & partly in the shade. Clever boy! #TerrierTuesday
