Been planning to share my comments from last week's #CIGF2024 Online Harms Act panel. Now seems a good time, given today's announcement that the govt will split up Bill #C63 to push Part 1 (+4&5) through. I was asked to discuss potential unintended consequences of Part 1 and how to mitigate them. π§΅
