As a retirement treat I've just (semi) binge read the entire culture series. It really stands up to a reread - 4th or 5th time in some cases.

At the end of the school year our elderly female music teacher asked us to bring our favourite tracks in for analysis. I brought Hendrix's all along the watchtower. Her comment was "that's not my sort of music but it's very well constructed" - she was clearly impressed.

Yeah, my partners car dips the headlights automatically (most of the time anyway). The idiot designers thought it was worth putting up a distracting information box on the main display every time it does it - FFS I'm looking out of the window - I CAN SEE IT'S DIPPED THE LIGHTS.

I've always disliked loud bars / restaurants for exactly that reason.
