. It is with a mix of sadness and pride that I share the news today that my ten years at the NEA will come to a close on May 30, as I have decided to accept the Deferred Resignation Program. Serving you all through my work here has been the honor of a lifetime.

Someone beat me to it, but the star of Hank, Dick Kallman, is a pivotal character in one of my favorite books I read this year, Up With the Sun. Highly recommend for your holiday reading! It also contains a reference to the show Two on the Aisle which of course made me think of you.
