The angry part of Bluesky remembered KOSA (now under the Kids Internet and Digital Safety Act, or H.R. 7757) exists but rather yell at you I'll say:
If you have REALLY bad anxiety (like me!), you can call your reps after hours! Voicemail counts! The site 5Calls give you a script to read off of:
Tony is a fantastic guy, we're always so happy when we see him at conventions!

Fantastic Figure Notebook, page 15: Heads and faces, proportions.
Fantastic Figure Notebook, page 16: Heads in perspective, getting a likeness, face variations.
I'm reviewing some old tutorial and demo material from my college teaching days, in preparation for some followup tips on head and face sketching. Here's some basic stuff on head structure and proportion... (1/4)
If you see this, post a Wonder Womanβ¨
Your value as a person and ability to thrive should not have to depend on whether or not your stuff is insanely popular.
How we arrived on BlueSky:
Shirtless skater dude throwing a peace sign says: "I hope 2026 treats you the way you treat trans women."
are you a indie game developer of color? will you be in the sf bay area for GDC? do you want to demo your game?

I hate when people bring up how I'm an indie cartoonist who gets paid more per page than most working for publishers as evidence that everyone should be independent. We should be fighting to get ALL artists paid for their work. If you draw Spider-Man you should be making *way more* than me.
This is very "ripped straight from the pages of our story" coded.

Have we told you we sell "books"?
just became aware of this--the regime wants to clear-cut massive chunks of Oregon's old growth forests in the name of timber production.
you have until March 23rd to comment.
i know we have endless fucking things to scream at politicians about--this is an important one too.
If you have not read Persepolis you should, it is an extremely powerful graphic novel thats available for free on the Internet Archive: archive.org/details/pers... Though I would also highly reccomend supporting Marjane directly and purchasing it as well.
A digital drawing of author Maia Kobabe, a white nonbinary person with short brown hair wearing a patterned blue shirt, who scowls while holding up a copy of eir book GENDER QUEER: A MEMOIR. Maia is saying: H.R. 7661 is a national book banning bill which seeks to remove any book that "involves gender dysphoria or transgenderism" from all public schools in the US. This would ban my books, and any other book with trans themes, from public schools. PLEASE call your House Reps and say: NO ON H.R. 7661!

If you want to stand up against fascism, then you have to defend trans rights. Itβs nonnegotiable. We all lose otherwise.
The Transgender Law Center is a good organization to support right now. transgenderlawcenter.org

Cartoonists: new visual aid about tangents and separating your planes just dropped
A field of wildflowers and butterflies with a few bumblebees. The text reads, βThey think of people as pests to be driven out and crushed. But diversity is what makes a garden thrive.β
A group of different sizes and shapes of lit candles. The text reads, βthey think kindness and empathy are a weakness. But it has kept communities warm from the biting cold for centuries.β
Different protest signs, fist raised and the Minnesota flag. Some of the signs read: ICE OUT. Badges donβt excuse brutality. Compassion is not a crime. Chinga la migra. Immigrants make America great. The text below reads, βThey think our fear and their cruelty will force us into compliance. They are wrong.β
Against the starry space, a group of folks from different walks of life and culture hold hands around the Earth. The text reads, βWe will be a fellowship that protects our neighbors and works towards a world that shares its goodwill with one another.β
Things are still scary and uncertain here in Minnesota but the community is strong and so is our love
