Hassett downplays a terrible February jobs report: "It's about what we expect to be seeing because immigration has gone down by so much that the breakeven employment is probably in the 30,000 or 40,000 jobs a month range. The economy is really strong."
Ok let's start rolling back the one big piece of shit bill's tax cuts.
This amount is double what anon MoC were saying 2 days ago. And Trump is escalating.
Telling courts that refunds would be "automatic" and "assured" was the government's way of avoiding emergency relief.
America is in need of a major course correction:
- Qatar warns new war could "bring down the economies of the world"
- Disastrous jobs report, inflation is rising, fiscal condition worsening
- Russia is helping Iran attack Americans
Need a better way๐

Donald Trump must find a way to cut short his ill-considered conflict with Iran. His rash approach is sowing chaos econ.st/3OYibZ1
The Justice Department has posted online three FBI interviews related to sexual assault allegations against President Donald Trump that had been missing from the massive trove of Epstein files released by the Department of Justice. Trump has consistently denied wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

And now the USA is desperate for Ukrainian help because the Trump administration is incompetent in defense matters and Ukraine knows what it is doing.
Any chance Trump has the decency to say thanks?
Zelensky highlighting the moral and strategic poverty of the USA under Trump. In the last year Trump has ended all military aid for Ukraine, has undermined Ukrainian air defense, has tried to bully Ukraine in handing over territory, and has rolled out the red carpet for Putin.
Letting them be bullied by a tiny pipsqueak is beyond comprehension.
That Europe has let itself be taken hostage by Hungary is a disgrace beyond the imaginable. So much for all the talk about strategic independence.

I double checked. This is not being reported at WaPo.

Just sent out a free piece to expand on my article in @theatlantic.com yesterday. The signs of rot in US military and diplomatic capabilities are real and even more extensive than I could say in that article. Here are more-and a gift link to the original article. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...
Hubris. These idiots all think they know everything.
Why didn't the US consult Ukraine, the one country that knows how to country attacks from thousands of cheap drones?

I also remember citizens of erstwhile US allies telling me that Trump is Americans' problem to deal with. Well, I'm sorry, but no, he's clearly not just our problem. And the sooner you stop flattering and appeasing him, the better.
The "can't be a Nazi without starting a world war" was always nonsense - Hitler didn't start WW2 until he was 6 years in power - but I guess even that box would have to be checked sooner or later.
I remember Republicans telling me that it's absurd to call Trump a Nazi because he has no interest in initiating wars of conquest.
The danger is that this could allow Iran to target US naval assets. That doesn't mean a missile will get through, but it's the first step, which they probably couldn't do on their own.
It all may collapse faster than we expected. Gas prices affect everyone and with immediate effect.
Itโs almost like we didnโt think this through.
Brilliant planning and flawless execution are the hallmarks of the Trump regime.
MAGA is the most toxic, hollow, phony, grifty, obnoxious, fraudulent, culty, soulless political movement in US history built on lies, hate, paranoia and greed. And as it unravels, so many rats will claim they were never really on the ship.
Mark Zaid, come on down!!
Oh believe me, they will blame Biden for this too.
