Not concerned about businesses on Broadway, don’t care, sorry about it, but it does annoy me that the mayor says a tenant, who is stuck in a crap lease, has “entertained offers” for the property, and identifies him as the property owner. How is he supposed to sell the property as its tenant?

I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.

Also school district stuff would get so crazy I’d bet. I know school districts and metro/city boundaries are not identical and overlap
in weird ways, etc, but I can imagine some folks might want to try to make a new school district in their newly independent city.
