Our releases have always included large script overhauls. Mod compatibility in RSDK is impossible in that regard, unless mods base their code on mods that came before.
The CD Miracle Edition mod stack will still exist and you will still be able to play it.
I disagree. Sonic Adventure having the first Christmas visible in-game since SegaSonic doesn't mean it's the first in-universe Christmas. There could have been other Christmases where nothing on note happened. I think it's fair to assume that Sonic Adventure 2 is set in the year it was released.
Do you think Gerald Robotnik was one of those eastern European scientists that defected to the US during the cold war?
So, after thinking about this i should clarify. this is NOT a decomplation project. This project is to make/remake the things i made to get Megamix Mania on the Sonic Mania Decomp. the goal at the end is to have a version of V1.1 running on the Decomp that can be run on windows or other systems.
NopeMeet was kinda enough to let us port some code from Classic CD Tweaks. We haven't got everything, but we've taken a few fixes. The Quartz Quadrant foreground is restored.
That's going to be down to mod creators. We'll always do what we can to increase mod compatibility but everything is gonna rest on what the modding community decides to make.
I (Elsie) haven't played Miracle Edition but I hear it has a lot of customisation. We'll be focusing mainly on quality of life stuff and gameplay additions.
Our CD project will not be compatible with Miracle Edition, or any other existing Sonic CD mods.
Part of our work is a conversion from v3 to v4, but also mod compatibility has never been a goal of our projects. We're making our own thing like we always do.
No. Team Forever projects are always standalone. We've also converted everything from V3 to v4, so no existing CD mods will be compatible.
Afraid not, as we simply don't know. I can tell you the v4 port we've done is playable and we've squashed a lot of bugs. Right now we're working on various menus to get to things like options and game modes.
Knuckles is available in our CD project with Sonic Origins Plus on Steam, but you can also play as him if you build the engine yourself with the DLC lock disabled. As release approaches we will publish guides on how to do this.
With Knuckles on CD strictly being DLC content, that is all we can do.
The origins data files will not work with Sonic 1 Forever and Sonic 2 Absolute.
We are currently discussing options with this news now coming out, and will update our community when we have figured out a decision.
We have no plans to make Knuckles or Origins Amy moveset accessible outside of owning Origins Plus on steam.
I hope they donβt notice I forgot to say that Sonic Origins Plus is 70% off on steam and can be used to play as Knuckles as well as use the Origins Amy moveset in the upcoming Team Forever CD Projectβ¦otherwise who knows whatβll happen!
Congrats to the team for their release! Truly one of the best mods out there β€οΈ

We've taken down the Japanese menu track as it was an unfinished version. A final version will be uploaded soon. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks for everyone who showed interest in testing! We have chosen our testers for the time being, however we may contact people in the future if further extensive testing is needed.
Look forward to when we release! πΏ
Not everything we post is suppose to be a clue for something.
