You're absolutely correct. Nightcrawler is the coolest mutant.
The OG Highlander HGN-732 from TRO 2760. When I first read the fluff and the stats, I was hooked. I mean between a guass rifle and the Highlander burial.
Also
Star Wars (either WEG or the new stuff)
Star Trek Adventures
Here's a list of #ttrpg that I wish I had the time and table to play:
MechWarrior
TMNT & Other Strangenesses
Flames of Freedom
Hunter v5
7th Sea
Dragonlance (that I'm not running)
I'd be pulled to the left
I'm 100% in agreement with this statement
Four metal battletech miniatures. two Calliope, An ebony, and one Penthesilea.
Now that my summer hustle is over, it's back to battletech. Here's a Canopian lance I built for my wife; two Calliope, one Ebony, and one Penthesilea.
I have nothing against MtG or other trading card games, but for the second time in the past couple weeks I went to go check out a new local βgame storeβ and it turned out to be 95% TCGβs, 4% Warhammer Miniatures, a couple random board games, and no RPGs. I am aware thatβs where the money is butβ¦
These rock
1. First #TTRPG you ever played - BECMI red box
2. First you ever ran - BECMI red box for my siblings
3. Played the most - VtM MET larp
4. Run the most - VtMET
5. Favorite - Palidium
6. Most recently played - 5e
7. Most recently run - 5e
My wife told me that I should bite the bullet and learn how to play #battletech alpha strike. She knows just enough about BT to know that AS is the only way I'll get to play games in my area this winter... I love my wife
I saw that there's a project channel on @sarna.net discord for novels, etc. when my summer projects wind down in August , I am planning to actively join the conversation
I believe the page can be cleaned up. I don't care for the jumbled mess. I also believe that each novel page should point to the next novel in publication order as well as series order.
When you do get back to that project, I'd love to help. I think there is so much that can be done to make the novel pages better.
So, I'm reading Bred for War by @michaelastackpole.bsky.social and I gotta believe that he put a dig in there about genre writers and readers that I appreciate. I do kinda skim over the pewpewpew to get back to the plot
Happy Anniversary to my lovely wife @jstaleycarroll.bsky.social . 28years so far and many more to come. @smithandwollensky.bsky.social this cake is off the hook
It's my youngest's last day of high school. I'm so proud I'm bursting. And yes it's very dusty in here
I'm listening to a boss battle play list and the theme to Left4Dead comes up and I have a physical reaction. I get the feeling that I should be looking everywhere for something before I even realize that it's the music causing the reaction
Oh, go have a civil war. π
I'm sorry, which clan is the ilClan?
A green and gold Goliath Battletech mech from the front
A green and gold scorpian Battletech mech from the front.
A tarantual and scorpion battletech mech.
A Goliath mech from the side.
Here are my finished quads. I really like what I was able to do with the Goliath and the kitbashed Tarantula. The smaller two will be for a Hotspots campaign, with the goal of getting enough CBills to buy the Goliath.
Movie youβve watched more than six times using gifs.
(βHard modeβ no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LOTR)
The weather may have been stormy... And what if I found the whole thing entertaining...ππ₯Έ
The broken legs of a metal Tranantula miniature.
A fully painted Scorpion miniature.
The head of a Tarantula on the carved down plastic body of a Scorpion miniature.
I really had problems with the metal Tarantula mini for Battletech. I had a brilliant idea, however. Take the head of the Tarantula and put it on a carved down body of a Scorpion ...
Nothing is better than getting a crit in d&d and then rolling max damage on all your dice! Taking out the session's bbeg was sweet icing on the cake.
Okay, take a small moment as you are reading this. Look up from your screen; take a deep breath in through your nose, counting to 5; push out as much air from your lungs through your mouth; repeat the last two steps; think about your favorite fiction for a bit; just remember to breathe
It must have been difficult.π
