I set up the main menu scene for Australia Did It. Made this splitflap display and credits sequence for it.
You can play the demo right now btw store.steampowered.com/app/2396130/...

Do u prefer sports before or after Iftar? Me, I prefer before, but in the summer I sometimes got bad cramps because of dehydration, so I did it afterwards sometimes.
If u don't do sports at all, what used to be your preference?
Ramadan Mubarak Rami! Do u go back to bed after Suhoor this time of year? I literally can't function sleep deprived, so personally I go back and sleep as much as I can.
Never played Cave Story (don't shoot me pls), but these are really well done Christina! How do you decide how many shades per color? For example the gray of the stone gets 3, but the purple of the bat gets 2
Fascinating. I wouldn't read novels either if that was the case tbh. I wonder if it comes with a "superpower". Regularly those kinda genetic mutations also have benefits, like color blindness allowing people to better distinguish patterns that to others is camouflaged
I've always wondered about people with aphantasia if they can imagine smells/sounds/taste/feel. Can you for example imagine what the apple tastes like? Or imagine the smell of burning wood? Etc.

Coincidentally I have been watching a few lately. I can sum up 90% of them for everyone: "Make almost all of the game for free before you pitch to us"
I noticed this when I played Burnout as a kid. The cars seemed to go ultra fast, but it was all just effects. Still fast, just not as fast as it feels. Maybe check out what they do as well
I can't share what I worked on yet, but let's just say Rami asked me last minute to join the project, so it was a SPLIT second decision.
I FLAPPED around, even though I was working on my MAIN project.
Told him I was happy to put this on the MENU. Credit where CREDIT'S due, they did a great job!
Honored to have played a (very) small part in the development of this game!
Today was the first time I saw the animation for the trailer, and honestly it's 🔥
Man... Andre 3000 really out there doing anything but drop a new hiphop album
I can vouch for Christina! Her work speaks for itself, so let me add this: she gives the best visual feedback; clarifying your requests or making it clear for other artists on the team what could use fixing/adjusting.
Ahhh I misunderstood. I thought there was something external to those games, bridging their narratives. I was already familiar with this.
Coincidentally I had the same experience as you last week, but with Kojima. Specifically Psycho Mantis in MGS, where you had to move your controller to port 2
If too spoilery then nvm
Which meta elements? I've only played Undertale, saving Deltarune for full release, so I dunno what you're referring to. Please share, I also wanna feel lame
Congrats! Makes me wonder, how long was the development time?
Curious if you asked Steam for a lower cut for your game? If so what did they say?
I just played Megabolt, watched some ads, and followed you. Yours is way better, animations were soooo good and I think you were being very generous with having so little ads in a webgame. Does this genre and monetization model work for webgames?
Not trying to convince you, it's just such a pity you had to quit. FWIW your work inspired me immensely when I initially saw it on Twitter, still does tbh
Using shaders in-engine to handle pixelization/cel-shading also helps
I can attest the workflow is difficult. But I honestly believe that you can save time with procedural methods for as much as possible (terrain, textures, geometry etc). That does take away a bit from the handdrawn quality, but a worthy trade-off IMO. It's still a lot of work either way
Been thinking about doing exactly this later this year
Ahh, that's a name I haven't heard of in a while. I don't remember much about the Lufia games, playing it as a lil kid, but I do remember that I liked it and now that you mention it, the sound does bring me back
It's more than the panning, it's the whole vibe, instrument choice, minimalist melody stacking etc. The harp in the second part sounds a lot like THE Final Fantasy theme btw, not to take away from a good composition, I dig it
Is this the Chrono Trigger sound font? Sounds great, it oozes Chrono Trigger
Would like to join. Solo devving this: bsky.app/profile/ferd...
