Apart from Nadine Dorries absolutely nobody cares what Boris Johnson says about anything. Just ignore him, my friend.

I'm taking a utilitarian view here, which is why I agree with Mr Dylan's words. Really don't think prayer is the answer but thank you for communicating your thoughts. All the best as always x
Congratulations!
Purple flowers on the heather today at Aldouran Garden.
Bloomin heather.
Congratulations!
And for non-Americans, non-allies of America and all the women, children and animals who are in jeopardy through no fault of their own.
Tabby cat walks away from the laptop on my breakfast table.
Message reads ggggggggggggggggggggggg etc.
Kitty left a message on my laptop...
Brilliant. I'll gladly share my dinner with a donkey any day.
That's Channel 4 in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
Purple and white crocuses in the church garden today.
The crocuses are out and looking fab in Kirkcudbright.
I was representing a claimant at a social security tribunal one day. The judge, who had just made an instant profit by buying discounted shares in the newly-privatised Royal Mail, accused her of "wanting something for nothing."
Have you been watching Dirty Business on Channel 4? Sensational stuff. I hope there will be repercussions and serious action taken, including the abolitioon of the Environment Agency and its replacement by a fully-funded department including scientists and investigators with real legal powers.
The poster seems to be blaming Green voters for Reform's win, which is a daft argument at best. The people responsible are those that voted for Pochin. They knew what they were voting for but went along and did it anyway. I voted Green in 2024. The Labour candidate won, which really isn't my fault.
Tomatoes. Every time.
A pair of jackdaws by the ruined top section of the ancient tower in St Andrew's graveyard, Portpatrick.
The 16th century round tower at Portpatrick stands next to St Andrew's Kirk, which hasn't been in use since 1842. It's a home for jackdaws nowadays, and might have been so for the last 184 years for all I know.
Bushes - not very far away from beginning to sprout - with reeds and water behind and a stone bridge carrying the A714, which is quite a posh name for a wee country road that meanders from Girvan to the Machars.
Lovely old road bridge over the River Bladnoch in the sunshine today. Picture taken from the car park at the distillery.
Can't see the need to make a film when it will never be able to match the book. It's like buying instant coffee and pretending it's the real thing. If somebody wishes to dramatise a William Golding novel then The Spire could make a compellingly good serial for Sunday evenings.
A rickety wooden fence separates the public from a sheer drop. A signpost that bears the words Coast Path has been blown sideways by the wind.
The Mull of Galloway is Scotland's southernmost point. You'll need a good head for heights if you decide to follow this sign, and you'll lose your hat too if not careful because it's always windy. Great scenery though.
Voted for PR last time, Ian, keeping up my record of being on the wrong side in every referendum going back to 1975.
The Feast of St Valentine is a celebration of romantic love, and there's nothing at all wrong with that. xx
Ah, my friend. On this side of the Atlantic that's how "mediaeval" is spelt. See also "encyclopaedia" & "anaemia."
You'll have noticed the word "nicht" in there, Karen. Also found in German. Goethe's last words are supposed to have been "Mehr licht," which sounds exactly the same in Scots.
Thanks for that. x
You're doing well....
...and slightly shorter in Scotland.
If you found Gaelic hard to understand, try some mediaeval English instead:
Mirie it iſ while ſumer ilaſt ƿið fugheleſ ſong, oc nu neheð ƿindeſ blaſt and ƿeder ſtrong! Ei, ei! Ƿhat ðiſ nicht iſ long, and ich ƿið ƿel michel wrong, ſoregh and murn and faſt!

I don't speak Gaekic either, Francja, and I agree with you.
Kind of you to say so, Lee.
