An important and very well made Italian documentary on American homelessness presented by the great Tom Waits, whose 76th birthday was just a couple days ago: www.raiplay.it/video/2025/0....

βItβs worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendmentβ - Charlie Kirk.
"It's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some people offended so that we can have dark humor." - Me.

So... He just declared Civil War?
Also, you gotta love how Truth Social has My Pillow and ED treatment ads everywhere. It feels like a scam/malware site. It's crazy for a President to be posting on there, it'd be like if Bill Clinton officially distributed his speeches on Limewire.
"Weβre going to go on offence, not just on defence. Maximum lethality, not tepid legality. Violent effect, not politically correct.β - Hesgeth.
Damn the DoD and its defensive-only wars like Iraq!
And its tepidly legal less-lethal weapons like napalm, WP, cluster bombs, DU shells, and Agent Orange!
"We started losing wars when we became DoD!" My friends Tecumseh and Pancho Villa can think of a couple wars you lost prior to the DoD. But yeah, it's all in the name, the Viet Cong, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban would've been too scared to oppose a Department of War.
Gotta love the Trump government: "we have to curb spending!" 5 minutes later - "we have to spend however much it costs to pointlessly rename everything!"
The J in J Robert Oppenheimer stood for Jiang Zemin. Pretty impressive career: first a nuclear physicist, then the Paramount Leader of China, and finally a rapper and producer under the stage name Jay-Z.
Granted, Kathleen Wynne boasted about how little her government spent on healthcare. As fas as I'm concerned, both the Libs and the Cons are two sides of the same neoliberal coin that have been destroying Ontario for the past 40 years or so.
This also happened in a #ldnont hospital earlier this year, it shouldn't be happening at all in a wealthy country in 2025. www.cp24.com/news/canada/...

Israeli soldiers abused Ali Skaik before. Now, as they re-invade Gaza City, he's worried that they'll do it again.
80 years ago today, Japan surrendered and WW2 ended. The New York Times even reported on CCF leader MJ Coldwell's reaction that Japan is ripe for revolution and Emperor Hirohito, the militarists, and big businesses should be overthrown by the common people: nyti.ms/4fEdQDN
With this President's election loss, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a pre-Reagan Overton window, or persist in the doomed world he created.
This is precisely right. Much of forested North America is burning. It is a result of poor political leadership & an electorate unwilling to make tough decisions.

"Why do these animals called humans like war so much? We keep saying it, we keep telling them, but it's not getting through, for 80 years no-one has listened." - Hiroshima survivor Toshiyuki Mimaki.
(WARNING: FLASHING LIGHTS). Run The Jewels performing their song "Run The Jewels" from their album, you guessed it, "Run The Jewels" in Toronto on 14 July 2025. They did this song shockingly fast, it's already a fast song on the album, but this was crazy: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-yS...
George: "They made Metroid an FPS, Jerry! Metroid's a side-scroller, it's always been a side scroller."
Jerry: "So? What's the big deal?"
George: "I can't handle three dimensions, two were hard enough."
Kramer: "You want hard, my friend Bob Sacamano's making a DK game with bongo controls."
The American Revolution was not a fight between tyranny and liberty, but rather a fight between two differing ideas of liberty. Or even more cynical - it wasn't about liberty at all for the Americans but just about wanting to cross the proclamation line and genocide Indigenous peoples.
βHatred destroys, first of all, those who hateβ - Srebrenica Genocide survivor, Nedzad Avdic.
30 years ago, 8372 Bosnians were murdered by Serb militias around the town of Srebrenica in just 20 days. Bosnia was the 1st Hussars' largest and most dangerous UN deployment

Saw two cops responding to this downtown #ldnont apartment building, guns out struggling with the front door. Then another two showed up with tasers drawn, one grabbed a shield from their trunk and then more showed up grabbing shields. All this happened in around 2 minutes.
Tpr. John Donald Dumont of the 1st Hussars was a relative of #MΓ©tis military leader Gabriel Dumont. John was one of the 13 Hussars murdered by the 12th SS on 11 June 1944, our newest video tells his story. #IndigenousHistoryMonth

MCpl. Boyd, MCpl. Carr, and Cpl. Williams were deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in 2003. The photo shows Cpl. Williams driving a Bison armoured vehicle away from the Darul Aman Palace, built for the King of Afghanistan in 1927 and destroyed in the 1992-1996 civil war which brought the Taliban to power.
In 2005, Canada took command of Kandahar Province from the US right before the Taliban launched a major offensive there. This resulted in Canada having the highest per-capita casualty rate of all the NATO forces in Afghanistan. Light Armoured Vehicles like the one in this model were used often in patrols and were frequently targeted by Taliban improvised explosives. In 2011, Canada withdrew most of its soldiers from Afghanistan, though 950 stayed until 2014 as part of the NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan to train the Afghan National Army and Police.
Today, Utah Senator Mike Lee introduced a bill to withdraw the US from #NATO. Did you know that Article 5, the collective defense article, was only invoked once in history when the US was attacked by Al-Qaeda on 11 September 2001? Canada and many other NATO countries aided the US against Al-Qaeda.
40 years ago today, the deadliest terrorist attack in Canadian history occurred when a bomb exploded aboard Air India Flight 182 travelling across the Atlantic from Pearson Airport to India, killing all 329 occupants.
Today is #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay. The following Indigenous soldiers of the 1st Hussars made the ultimate sacrifice in the Second World War:
