Weirdly my step-grandpa was a rando drunk union worker and biodad grandpa is a ?????
But when you are in a cab back to the old hood for your grandpa’s funeral and the CAB DRIVER WAS DELIVERED BY HIM AND THIS IS NOT REMOTELY THE FIRST TIME AN ENCOUNTER LIKE THAT HAS HAPPENED
Well.
We’ve both been dragging Sancho’s ass around for years on this one, brother
THIS is the news you pluck from these hearings?
Earnestly, pleadingly, for the good of America — FUCK ALL THE WAY OFF.
“Oh, you know.”
"right now I have gemini picking apart some giant proprietary xml file that's ...as fucking usual, all one line. and i'm watching it throw shell shit at it just exactly as i have done a hundred times to try and figure it out. and boy am i glad i can have an AI do this now"

I finally sat down for 3 solid days and developed a framework for it to trace, debug and iterate on my CI gitops nightmare of a distributed deployment framework. then: full multi-env regression tests for every possible version/settings path on each change. *5 years* fighting to test this nightmare.
A screenshot of an AI coding agent that has just rocked my homelab kubernetes cluster's bullshit into line.
I will never, ever, maintain kube by hand again
This is what i'm loving:
I get to make the crazy-ass ideas i've had kicking around in my head actually happen without burning out on learning the god fucking damn syntactical implementation of everything under the sun to do it.
and then, sometimes, you find that the theme song from "Hogan's Heroes" has been playing in your head for a nontrivial amount of time, quietly, almost unnoticed in the mix
I SHALL HAVE my slack-driven superbrain. Oh, I shall.
(with red/green TDD for every step of the way!)
I spent an hour writing a human spec for a 6-microservices kube architecture, fed it through for a discussion pass, had superpowers build an implementation document (**93 pages**) and now sonnet 4.5 has been implementing it task by task for an hour and a half
My Dreamcast asking me to set the date, and showing the Japanese launch date of 27th of November 1998.
"Dreamcast", a haiku
Each day he rises.
Asks me, "Is it still launch day?"
"Yes," I lie. "Always."
Close your mouth, Michael, we are not a codfish.
We won’t even get into the fact that Romeo and Juliet is absolutely anti-dumbasses-ending-up-ever-after
KINDLY DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLOUD THE MATTER WITH FACTS
The current 5-year-old “on repeat” movie is Mary Poppins and I am 100% down with this
CHARO’S ANGELS
@catturd2.bsky.social
An eternal classic for such awful reasons, none of which have to do with the book or its late beloved author
Coffee at 7 cause it’s friiiiiiday!
Update: fuck that shit, just use github.com/obra/superpo.... Run, don't walk.
like...the same way coding with agents and talking architecture with them has felt magic, crackling with power?
That level-up of magic, AGAIN. It's transcendent.
But the premise is flawed, Gillian Anderson would be a top 5 host
Team Aura, baby.
“..with a CLI that includes ‘tasks chat’…”
I built a task mgr with cli or ‘tasks chat’ for claude/gemini/copilot with dyn settings, an mcp + semantic search, talks to jira. CLI is great but the wild part of ‘tasks chat’ is watching agents coordinate through it and surface patterns i never explicitly coded. emergent behavior is real.
I’ll hitting the groove lately with it and…the velocity and quality with good guidance is incredible. I’m primarily limited by budget (at work and personal, both)
Working on a comprehensive governance template and my stuff is really gonna cook.
I regret to inform everyone that ICE/CBP lawlessness is not due to a lack of training. It is a feature, not a bug.
