i didn’t know it was band! i thought they were railing against the concept of “consolidated”
Carney should bring them on tour IMO
god i don’t think any band has as rich of a bench of hits AND banger deep cuts as Sloan while still toiling away in obscurity

This track starts off all smoove yazz groovy laid back Alfa Mist keys and Yussef's relaxed but intricate drumming and then in the second half Mansur Brown sends it through the damn roof. That man gets after it. Great tone too. Cool players
