Leigh Brackett: Already a popular and respected SciFi writer in 1944, she collaborated with Chandler and Faulkner to write The Big Sleep which became a #FilmNoir classic. She died in '78 writing the 1st draft of The Empire Strikes Back. #WomenInNoir

I thought the style was a bit over the top (the sound fx for the camera pans and swings, the needless closeups) but that was the 90s! I did appreciate the humorous touches that knocked the tension down a bit for the next tense moment though.
