Oh it definitely is, but more importantly it is the very long prologue to 5 which already has a prologue that relies heavily on you already having intimate knowledge of the characters and events of Peace Walker

Started with this one, then realized I missed a TON of backstory so I went back and played Metal Gear 1 & 2. Thought I could then play MGS 1-5, only to find 5 makes no sense without Peace Walker… so now I’m on that

Welp it’s 1AM and all I’ve done today is play Pokopia

Yes I’m aware that they are rereleasing Peace Walker and Ghost Babel as part of the MGS Vol2 set, but I’m not waiting that long, and I already JUST played MGS4! Like RIGHT BEFORE they announced the rerelease!

So I’ll suffer through the much worse PSP controls as Kojima intended

Remember when I thought I could just start MGS without playing the first two Metal Gears? Well, Kojima got me again. Thought I could simply start MGS5 after beating MGS4. “No no no,” says Kojima. “First you must play the PSP exclusive MGS: Peace Walker”

So anyway, Peace Walker is pretty good

Anyway, switching back over to RE9 now, but I’m very exited to dive back into Turok when I’m done

So I beat Turok 2 today (another childhood goal) because I wanted to move on to RE9. But, I was a little curious to start Turok 3 because I never even knew it existed until I bought the remaster trilogy. This game is SO different and WEIRDLY similar to Resident Evil game?? Has anyone played Turok 3?

A better version looks like it might be the upcoming movie Exit 8 which is based on a similar backrooms style video game. Looks creepy as hell, so if Backrooms doesn’t pan out, at least there’s that!
