Had the honor and privilege of voicing both the Chocolate Wench and The Baker in the audio production of this beautiful and surreal holiday poem, which was written/narrated/produced by my friend, Daniel Siuba.
Check out The Newcomer at the link below!
Had an epiphany regarding a passion project that Iβve been kicking around in my head for a while now. It would be a *massive* undertaking, but ultimately very rewarding on multiple levels.
β¦super vague, I know. Still early in the planning stages, though. Perhaps Iβll have more to share later. π
Itβs not wasted potential though, youβre not wasting anything. Youβre showing up, youβre learning, youβre making progress. And all of those are awesome things worthy of celebration π₯³
I fully disagree. Itβs definitely not easy, and it may take time, but you got this! π
Went great, thanks! A great group of students + working with one of my fav coaches again = win. π
Starting improv level FIVE today, woooooo~ π€©
Completely understandable! It can be a grind to cut through/compete with/distance yourself from the noise and the cash grabbers on multiple levels. π©
Well, should you ever decide to offer VO/VA coaching or classes in the future, I would definitely be interested!
Also made the incredibly difficult decision to scale back to part-time at my day job recently, because life is just consistently hitting far too hard for me to maintain a 40-hour work week, on top of everything else.
Had to step back from VO and improv over the past 1.5 months. Dealing with a sudden medical emergency in the family that required a lot of admin + caretaking while *also* trying to get around with an achilles tendon injury resulting from a bone spur has been exhausting on multiple levels. π«
Not a coach myself, but as someone who has worked with a handful of VO/acting/improv coaches, the 1-on-1 rates and how theyβre structured (per-minute charges, single flat rate sessions, multi-session package deals) are pretty varied, tbh.

Was just getting a replacement license after my original renewal got returned to sender in error, so I assumed I wouldnβt need to retake my pic.
Ah well, lesson learned. π
I just woke up less than an hour before. No makeup. Sweaty and puffy AF from the awful weather. No time to check/fix hair after being asked to take it down for the photo.
Bless the photographer at the DMV this morning, alerting me to the fact that my shirt was slightly askew after removing my bag, as if that was somehow going to drastically improve the utter tragedy standing before her:
In the same boat, and I (mostly) managed up until a few years ago when I had several negative life changing events occur back to back. Then suddenly, my old methods no longer worked. Still figuring it out. Throwing things at the wall, and seeing what sticks. Making progress, but itβs a slow climb.
I have yet to watch, but already know Iβll feel the same when I do.
Mmmmaybe Iβm crazy for considering it at this point, but seriously contemplating trying out for a house improv team the next time auditions roll around for one that feels like a good fit.
Imagination is the power of the storyteller!
Imagination is the power of the storyteller. Imagine yourself in the scene. See what's around you, who you are talking to, what you are doing. Paint a picture in your mind to give life to your words. #voiceacting #voiceover
Oh hey, this is tomorrow by the way!
Thatβs an incredibly valid and fair point.
*bursts through the wall, Kool-Aid Man style* DID SOMEONE SAY SHENANIGANS???
@beacoppardvo.bsky.social and I had our tags sabotaged π€π
At my first lvl 4 improv class tonight, nine people witnessed me singing excerpts from the following:
Pink Pony Club β Chappell Roan
Wannabe β Spice Girls
Bohemian Rhapsody β Queen
Take On Me β A-ha
Straight Up β Paula Abdul
β¦be incredibly thankful that you werenβt one of those nine people. π
Gotta take inspiration wherever you find it! π
Whoβs visititng? The aliens? Is that who the glowy people are??
Keep me in the loop on your findings π
Their equipment list is legit (though Iβll also be bringing some of my own). Hoping the sound treatment is passable as well, because I would LOVE to have this as a backup option.
The only downside is that it has a strict time limit, though maybe thatβll force me out of overthinking my recordings. π
Dealing with an excessive noise issue at my place, and after trying so hard to carve out time to record for auditions + projects, itβs wildly frustrating to be hit with yet another setback. π
Turns out that my local library just opened a recording lab though, so Iβll be checking that out tomorrow.
Took a Shakespearean improv workshop today and had a blast. Hoping it was a tester for a full multi-week class, because Iβd sign up in a heartbeat.
