11) Watched Perfect Blue (1997): Excellent movie. Went into it without even reading the synopsis and man was it intense.

I already regret this tier list because I put Asha and Jon Connington in the same tier as fucking Arys "The Soiled Knight" Oakheart oops
Uh-oh! Worst person you know learned therapy words
People who don't like Brienne's AFFC chapters will not survive
Meanwhile, Dany is one of my favorite characters, but her supporting cast can feel hit or miss.
Meanwhile Bran has some stinkers, but his entire ADWD arc is peak beyond belief. I also kind of feel like I should've put Arya in S tier thinking about it now. Her ACOK/ASOS chapters are so grim and tragic, and her AFFC/ADWD stuff is good too.
Its tough because Asha has some S-tier chapters, especially the battle in the woods, but a lot of her chapters are kind of just foreshadowing for Winds stuff.

"I hope you die" is weak. "I hope that obscure Japanese-only game you wanna play gets a fan translation done entirely by ChatGPT" is way more hurtful. It's real. It could happen to anyone.

new Evangelion content means new Evangelion memes
Clingan is such a fun center to watch
Its funny I thought Rokka was generally well paced. Its main issue was production value.
I'm glad the anime is doing well though. Of the non-nasu fate spinoff light novels, it was my favorite. Not that the competition is good.
Strange Fake is interesting to me because while I liked the ln volumes I read, I think it kind of goes against Narita's strengths as a writer. He really struggles with killing of characters so writing a battle royale is fundamentally unsuited for him.
I also really enjoyed Durarara!! SH so I'm kind of sad that it probably won't ever be completed. What a fun cast. Sadly it joins Vamp! and Etsusa bridge in the Narita not enough sold volumes dumpster
Its crazy how lucky Ryhogo Narita got with anime adaptations for both Baccano! and I guess the first season of Durarara!!. Like Neither are perfect adaptations in the sense that they change stuff and cut other things, but they are basically the perfect advertisements for the light novels.
Was rewatching the ops for Umineko and had nam flashbacks. That VN left me emotionally devastated lol
its crazy how some anime will go through like 4 light novel volumes in a single 12 ep season when some of the more successful adaptations take a much slower approach. Though like you said its probably much higher risk.
they found the seal that calls people gay
7) Rewatched Baccano!: To this day the best light novel adaptation of all time. It captures the feel of the ln perfectly and turns the non-linear style up to eleven. Immaculate soundtrack and the only dubbed anime other than Black Lagoon that I like.
6) Replayed Trails in the Sky SC: Good game. Estelle my goat
Fang Yuan becoming the next Kiyotaka Ayanokoji sigma male character for tourists ๐
5) Watched Ghost in the Shell (1995): Beautiful looking movie.

Stories have been focusing a lot on corporations and our impact on nature - as opposed to nature feeling like a much larger distant force that looms over the player. I miss feeling like a kid catching bugs accidentally seeing a God in the trees.
