Bikubot

Bikubot does not use GenAI TTS and will not for as long as it keeps being done unethically.

Using a TTS service that allows for SSML is a good way to customize your TTS voice without using genAI to make it unique, it's a way to change the pitch, rate and timbre among others for the "standard" voices.

Now I do not have much knowledge about linux, but I do build a .rpm, .dep and .AppImage (auto updates) and so far no problems from the few linux user I do have.

I should have added this a long time ago, but my brain was still in like 2020, when most people was using websites for "alerts" and chatbots for chat things.

But glad to finally catch up and have it in! Time to catch up on more things!

You can now connect Bikubot to things like Warudo and VNyan or your own custom creation. With the new Websocket client in Bikubot, you can now send and receive messages to/from other programs, allowing a new level of creativity and synchronization.

Ah, that's fair and you are correct, there is not much official info out there, I have mostly relied on "word-of-mouth" for info and spreading the bot or videos made by others.

I should really update the Patreon, that Trello is years old, it's been left like so, as I moved most things to discord.

Yes, Bikubot uses AWS Polly for TTS. It never had a system where the bot can "generate responses", it was to be added at one point, but the community had a respectful conversation and I learned a lot and after that I took a stance against it.

I would be interested to know what you mean with vague?

The new system of focusing on smaller scope updates are so far working good, would not say I am up to full speed yet, but it's progress :D

Finally take control of where a command/trigger can be in a chat message, they no longer have to be at the start of a message. Also if you have the know-how, regex is now supported!

Since last post we had some smaller update to improve reliability.
Got the Linux and Mac version up to date with Windows.
Today added:
- The option for randomizers to not repeat.
- The option to remove the text read from a text file.

Depends, there is one "broken" thing, as with recent versions of OBS the old Websocket connection can't affect newly created Text sources, so Bikubot has moved to using the build in websocket other then that its "just" a few more features.

Will be honest and say that the Mac version has fallen behind the Windows version, but in the final stages of catching up (it's out in pre-release branch). When it comes to tutorial I mostly rely on community videos as I am not at making them myself and a full up working the bot itself :)

One of the primary thing people use Bikubot for is to have a chat mascot! So it only appropriate that Bikubot should have a mascot too, So I set up a design contest to create a mascot for Bikubot with prizes for the top 3 designs. Entry and information can be found below.

Sorry this happened to you, the last update was a big change, having to move to OBS websocket v5, I know you moved on but did you try the rebind function? That should have fixed it for you, instead of having to recreate them.

with the new update to bikubot, i've been able to make the [DESTROYED] redeem even more ridiculous.
