It would be practically and legally impossible to hold a royal commission that goes anywhere near the actions or motivations of the accused killer, before his criminal proceedings are concluded, which could take years. That limitation would render the royal commission itself pointlessly premature.
Does anyone know how a Royal Commission (state or federal) about the Bondi Beach murders right now might intersect with Sub Judice law, ie the requirement to not compromise the fair trial of a person who has been charged?

Sussan Ley is clearly so far out of her depth that she deserves to be sacked by her party, purely for her own good.
